Blackened Fish / Chicken

Ingredients:

  • Fish / Chicken Tenders
  • Salt (optional)
  • Avacado / Olive Oil (or any oil with a high cooking temperature)
  • Mishou Magic Seasoning

Directions:

  1. Rinse meat and lay it out on a cutting board. 
  2. If adding salt sprinkle salt over the meat.
  3. Sprinkle Mishou Magic seasoning over the meat covering it entirely.
  4. Allow the spice to adhere to the meat then turn the meat over and repeat steps 2 and 3.
  5. Lightly coat a large non-stick skillet with oil and preheat to med-high.
  6. Once the oil is hot, add the meat and cook until the seasoning has blackened, turn the meat and blacken the other side. 

Serving Suggestions:

Serve with Mishou Magic Spiced Rice, red beans and rice and mixed vegetables or oven roasted herb potatoes.

Mishou Magic Tip:

  • Always cook extra chicken.  Leftovers are great in pastas, salads or cooked into a jambalaya or gumbo.
